Die-cast aluminium split body with abrasion-resistant valve disc and dust-tight elastomer sealing.
Nominal sizes: DN 100–400 (4–16 in).
Available configurations:
Version with identical upper and lower flanges for flange-mounted installation
Version with top flange and beaded bottom section for flexible sleeve or expansion joint connection
Food-grade versions with stainless steel disc and FDA-approved seal are available.
ATEX Zone 22 compliant versions available upon request.

General Operation
Aluminium body butterfly valves for gravity isolation and flow control of powders and granules under silos, bins, and hoppers. Featuring die-cast aluminium construction, abrasion-resistant disc options, and dust-tight elastomer sealing.
Available in DN 100–400, with manual, pneumatic, or electric actuation (supplied separately).
Suitable for standard, food-grade, and ATEX applications.

Description
Butterfly Valves for Powders & Granules — Aluminium Body
Butterfly valves with die-cast aluminium bodies are designed for reliable interception and isolation of powdered and granular bulk materials in gravity discharge applications.
Installed under silos, bins, hoppers, and feeding equipment, these valves ensure controlled material flow and effective dust-tight shut-off.
Function
The valve consists of a high-pressure aluminium alloy body with abrasion-resistant disc options in cast iron, engineering polymer, or stainless steel. Sealing is achieved by elastomer gaskets, with food-grade versions available featuring integral seals.
Material flow is controlled by rotating the disc through 90°, using manual, pneumatic, or electric actuators. Actuators are supplied separately to allow proper selection according to material properties and operational requirements.

Body & Flange Configurations:
Aluminium split body with identical upper and lower flanges for sandwich installation between mating flanges.
Version with top flange and beaded bottom section, suitable for fixing a flexible sleeve or expansion connection.
Sealing & Pressure:
Dust-tight design suitable for gravity applications.
Operating pressure / vacuum up to 0.2 bar.
Replaceable sealing elements for simplified maintenance.
Materials:
Aluminium alloy valve body
Disc in Aluminium, Cast iron, Engineering polymer, or Stainless steel
Elastomer gasket profiles for standard or food-grade applications
Interfaces & Standards:
DIN 5482 Splined drive shaft or ISO 5211 Square drive shaft for actuator mounting
